Information about Open Data Wales
Open Data Wales is a ‘one-stop-shop’ resource for public sector open data in Wales, making it easy for you to access, and use, public sector open data.
In addition to bringing together relevant public sector data that has been published openly elsewhere, Open Data Wales has been designed to make it easy for public sector organisations to publish their local data in an open format.
All data published on the website can be used and re-used free of charge in any format or medium, under the terms of the Open Government License - see website for further details.
If you are a public sector organisation and want to add your data to Open Data Wales, please get in touch. It doesn’t matter how big or small you are!

We will always take reasonable steps to ensure the website’s information is maintained as accurately as possible. It should be noted, however, that the website may be out of date at any given time. We do not guarantee that our website, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions.

Our website is made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that our website, or any information within, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Data Cymru acts as a data processor for all data the data controller stores using the service. You will be responsible as the data controller for ensuring that you have a legal basis for obtaining and storing the information we hold on your behalf and for managing your account permissions in line with administrative access you will be granted.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any information you add to our website meets your organisation’s obligations as detailed under the Welsh Language Act (1993) and the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011.
We do not guarantee that our website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform in order to access our website. You should use your own virus protection software.
You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material, which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the server on which our website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our website.
